About the Las Vegas Chapter
My name is D.P. Bracken, but
everyone just calls me "Bracken". I formed the
local chapter in 1992 as the result of a desire to DO
something about the IRS and Income Tax instead of
only complaining about them. I knew there was
something wrong with our method of taxation, but was
unaware of any solution.
When I heard about CATS my
first impulse was one of skepticism, but after
studying their proposal and comparing it with other
tax reform plans, I decided to become a member. A few
months later I realized the need for a chapter here
in Las Vegas, so I took a deep breath and dove in. My
nine years as a volunteer with CATS and chairman of
the Las Vegas chapter have been some of the most
exciting and rewarding of my entire life.
The local chapter meets
regularly and our many active members enjoy the
opportunity to have a positive impact on the future
of our great country. When this is completed we will
have the satisfaction of knowing we took part in
something that future generations will look back on,
as we look back on the great men that formed the
United States of America.

which has speakers available for groups, clubs, radio
